Enterprise iLembe, an entity of iLembe District Municipality handed over critical assets to beneficiaries of its MSME and Co-operative Business Support Programme, aimed at strengthening small businesses and promoting economic growth across the iLembe District.
The programme provides qualifying enterprises with business equipment and stock to improve productivity, sustainability and market competitiveness.
The initiative forms part of Enterprise iLembe's ongoing efforts to support entrepreneurship, stimulate job creation and empower local businesses.
Speaking at the handover, Enterprise iLembe Board of Director Chairperson, Mr. Nkosenhle Mngadi, reaffirmed the Board's commitment to creating opportunities for small enterprises, particularly youth-owned, women-owned and disability-owned businesses, to grow and contribute meaningfully to the local economy.
