The Municipal Infrastructure component of the Vuthela iLembe LED Support Programme aims to improve planning and access to infrastructure services for development investment, effective and efficient service delivery, and sustainable growth.

Specific areas include Infrastructure planning, financing strategies, asset management, investment planning prioritising access to energy and integrated waste management, best practice and efficiency of water and sanitation delivery, and identification of opportunities for green infrastructure and the circular economy.
