Public Finance Management

The Public Finance Management component of the Vuthela iLembe LED Support Programme aims to strengthen the financial position of the three municipalities through better capacity to plan, finance and manage infrastructure investments and the provision of public services resulting in a positive contribution to the business climate.

Specific areas include policy oversight and audit, revenue collection and management, asset management and procurement, governance, systems development including human and administrative capacity development and retention, improved management of the indigent and related service delivery cost implication.
